Signing in Lima

I have the biggest pack. I feel so, so much shame. After everything I learned in Mexico, how did this happen?

From here, I swallow my shame and do my best not to complain about how heavy my pack is. I brought it, I’m going to do my best to carry it and try even harder to do it with a little grace. But, I’m such a complainer.

Aside from that, not much else has gone on. We stopped by a travel agent’s today and got our tickets to Cuzco. From there, we head on to the Inca Trail after acclimatizing. I know it’s going to be a difficult hike, but I’m really looking forward to it! Let’s see some beautiful ruins, everyone!

Oh and I have to admit, on all the official forms that we’ve been filling out, I’ve been writing “Archaeologist” in as my occupation. Feels good. Feels really good.
