How I Spent my Wednesday.

I was so nervous, but I knew I was making the right decision simply because I was so excited. It was outweighing the nervousness. The two feelings were playing a war in the pit of my stomach. It didn’t help that somehow, I’d managed to get a little gluten into my body.

Ian picked me up at around 12:45 and we started the near-hour long drive out to Canmore. We got to the parlour, took our shoes off at the door, and walked into a very warm room. I offered up my design printout and after a few minutes, I sat down to get my tattoo.

It didn’t take more than ten minutes. Quite frankly, I don’t think it took more than five minutes. It will last me a lifetime and I can’t begin to tell you how much I love it. It’s exactly what I wanted. It’s there to remind me that I always have and always will get right back up. To remind me of all the horrible stuff I’ve been through and that whatever horrible stuff I’ll go through in future, I’ll get back up.

So here’s to my wrist.

  1. Hi Jillian,

And what is written on your tatoo. Sorry, it should be the Frenchie in me.

I’m enjoying reading all the things you want to do in your life. Just love it!
